Llanrug born and bred Marvin Pritchard has left United for pastures new.

Marvin who has lived in Llanrug all his life, played for the United Juniors and the Reserves before stepping up to the 1st Team in August 2004.

A strong and versitly player who has bags of energy made a total of one hundred and fifty apperances for for United 1st Team during three different spells, adding up to ten seasons at the club.

  • The first spell for two seasons 2004/2005 and 2005/2006, were he made sixteen firsts team apperances eleven as a subsitute.
  • The second spell for four seasons from 2007/2008 to 2010/2011 were he made fifty three firsts team apperances twenty five as a subsitute, scoring four goals and three man of the match awards.
  • The third spell for four seasons from 2012/2013 to 2015/2016 were he made eighty one firsts team apperances twelve as a subsitute, scoring twenty six goals and nine man of the match awards.

Officials, Players and Supporters of CPD Llanrug United FC are sad to see Marvin leave, but congratulate him are very proud of his achievements at United. We wish him the very best of luck, and someday hopefully see him again soon in the colours of United at Eithin Duon.

United’s Vice Chairman and Assistant Manager Kevin W Owen commented:
‘I am as everybody else at Llanrug United very sad to lose a player, a character and a friend as Marvin. Thanks for the memories’.
