CODE OF CONDUCT FOR PLAYERS
The essence of good ethical conduct and practice is summarised as follows:
• Consider the well being and safety of participants and coaching staff before the development of performance.
• Develop an appropriate working relationship with fellow performers and coaching staff, based on mutual trust and respect.
• Promote the positive aspects of sport. (e.g. fair play).
• Display consistently high standards of behaviour and appearance.
• Respect all uniforms, equipment ,documentation and facilities that are made available.
• Treat all coaching staff with respect at all times.
• Follow all guidelines laid down by the national governing bodies.
• Responsible to report any injury to coaching staff as soon as possible.
• If unable to attend training contact co-ordinators as soon as possible.
• Never exert undue influence over fellow performers and coaching staff to obtain personal benefit or reward.
• Never condone rule violations, rough play, bullying, racial harassment or the use of prohibitive substances.
• Encourage fellow performers to value their performances and not just results.
• HAVE FUN AT ALL TIMES.
