Read Manager Sean Rogers comments on our Droylsden 3v2 victory

Manager Sean Rogers spoke to the official website after the Droylsden game:

"Thanks to Droylsden for visiting us. They are a great club and a very talented side. Their management, players and fans are a credit to them.

I knew this would be a very difficult fixture. Droylsden have a great reputation for being a great footballing side and I remember from my Buckley days a pre season game where they were outstanding. I expected them to be welsh prem standard and they were.

I told the lads I wanted to see maximum work rate, intensity and team work but now we need to see performances start to improve with only a few weeks to peak for Prestatyn away.

Whilst there are a lot of things to improve on and a lot more tactical work to do to solve a few issues I couldn't be more delighted with Saturday and pre season thus far.

The first twenty minutes on Saturday we would have beaten anybody and some of the work with and without the ball was way ahead of where we may have been at this stage of pre season.

There is still a huge amount of work ahead of us. You win no prizes for having a decent pre season and we need to stay focussed.

The players had a very hard game in high temperatures so we will need to recover this week and continue to evolve the tactical elements of our game."
