Sunday 27 Sept, at Murrayfield

Murrayfield Wanderers are proud to be hosting a charity run on Sunday 27th September.
The day starts at 11.30am with the run starting at 12 noon.

ON THE DAY

The day starts at 11.30am, with the run itself due to start at 12 noon.
Entry is a minimum of £50 sponsorship or a £5 fee.
After the run, all participants are invited to join us in the clubhouse for a snack where there will be a raffle and the Scotland v USA Rugby World Cup match live on television at 2.30pm.

DONATIONS

If you can’t manage on the day you can donate via the Murrafield Wanderers Rugby Trust Foundation who are administering the funds for the event. 90% of all charity fun run funding will be sent to Stroke Association Scotland.

FOR THOSE WHO DON'T KNOW DAVE TWEEDIE..........

Dave Tweedie is well known to many of you as a former player and coach who represented the club more than 400 times, over 4 decades, playing over 20 times for Edinburgh.

Having suffered a stroke himself Dave has selected the charity Stroke Association Scotland as the primary charity for the event.

10% of all funds raised will go to the club’s own charity, Murrayfield Wanderers Rugby Trust Foundation providing young people with access to a healthy and active lifestyle.

*Stroke Association in Scotland works to prevent strokes happening, as well as providing information and support to anyone affected by stroke. They run free Know Your Blood Pressure events and stroke awareness events across Scotland as well as campaigning for improvements to people's lives after stroke.
