NB players part of the new SRU Academy

Lewis Carmichael, Andrew Grant Suttie and Finn Hobbis are all part of the East Lothian/Borders Academy based in Gala.

Lewis and Andrew both came up through the NB Minis section and then onto NHBS with Andrew latterly at Loretto.

Lewis has represented Scotland at U18 and U20 level, recently scoring a couple of tries at the U20 World Cup including one against eventual champions New Zealand and has won a league title as part of the Melrose team.

Andrew captained the Borders U18 team last season and represented Scotland U18.

Finn only took up rugby is S3 having previously focused on Judo. He is still at NBHS and was part of the 1st XV squad last season as well as starting all the U18 Borders games.

Congrats goes to all 3 boys and their NB coaches who have helped them on their way
