We are delighted to announce that ex-Oldfield Club Captain John Ricketts has very generously chosen to Bronze Sponsor Jack Ricketts and Jake Mole for the current season as well as Sponsoring Oldfield’s 1st XV home game against Avon on 17th November 2018.

John Ricketts, who is a great friend to many people at the club, joined Oldfield as a player at the start of the 1981-82 season, it was whilst he was having his house renovated back then by Oldfield stalwarts Dave Griffin and Dick Millard who, after much ear ache, convinced John to join Oldfield. A full back during his playing career for Oldfield, John was also Club Captain from 1990 to 1992. As a Match Day Sponsor and Player’s Sponsor, John will become a VP and will be entered into the draws for FREE International tickets for the following games:

England vs South Africa on 3rd November 2018
England vs New Zealand on 10th November 2018

A seasoned and talented player it is great to have Jack running out for the club, he is versatile and able to play in many of the positions in the backs, but by preference he is a hard running, hard tackling centre and a positive influence on and off the pitch.

Jake has the honour of being 2nd XV Captain for the up-coming season and was the proud recipient of the 2nd XV Player of the Year Award in 2016/17. His commitment to training is admirable and he always plays with passion, leaving everything on the pitch.
