The first 20 minutes were played at a frantic pace with neither side getting on top. Then a Kendal throw-in from their half was helped across field to the edge of the Albion box where Oliver Wood was allowed a free header to open the scoring.
The second half saw Albion begin to play better football and on the 69th minute Gibril Bojang sent his shot under Will Kitchen in the Kendal goal to equalise.
Less than a minute later the Albion defence allowed Danny Forbes to advance and fire an unstoppable shot into the top corner to put Kendal back in front.
Two minutes later they had doubled their lead when Samuel Bailey beat Brett Souter in the Albion goal.
Albion didn't give up though and Bojang got his second when he squeezed his shot past a defender and Kitchen with 8 minutes remaining.
Albion failed to take a chance to equalise and in the dying minutes conceded a penalty which Wood converted to round off Kendal's win.
