No amateur rugby club would survive the season without an army of loyal, dedicated and tireless volunteers that put in hours of unpaid effort week after week to ensure that the club they love succeeds, and prospers. If this annual exertion wasn't enough, some of PRFC's volunteers have been making that level of contribution for decades. The Gem McDowell award, dedicated to one of our exceptional former volunteers of the club, is awarded every May to honour the coach/volunteer who embodies the characteristics of Gem and who has made an equally sizeable contribution to the running of the club over the years.
