Just 6 weeks after Martin Scrimshaw put the team together, our Under 18's have reached the Yorkshire Cup final after beating Lock Lane 12-6 in Castleford last weekend.

The final is at Featherstone's Post Office Road on Sunday 30 Dec, 12.00 pm kick off against our old rivals West Hull. We have a player's bus with family already heading to the game, which is full. We are planning to run a supporters bus to the game, providing there is sufficient numbers to justify the booking. The cost can only be finalised when numbers are known, but it is likely to be in the region of £10. The coach will leave the club at 10.45 am.

I've already had a number of bookings through various WhatsApp groups. If you haven't sent me a message through one of these groups, but would like a seat on the coach, please text me on 07768 906766. Please only put your name forward if you are definitely coming with us.

I will be asking those who put their names forward for travelling with us to pay before the day, to avoid no-shows from increasing the cost for everyone else.

Well done also to our Under 13's and Under 15's, who both won their Yorkshire Cup Quarter Finals last weekend. The 13's had a 10-26 win on Humberside against Skirlaugh and the 15's beat Batley Boys 20-14 in front of a large crowd at Chevinedge. Both sides have been drawn away in the semi-finals.

The 13's travel to Lock Lane and the 15's are at Brotherton. Both ties will be played on 6 Jan 2019, kick off times will be announced nearer game day.
