On the back of Saturday's Arian Shield & as we approach the start of the 2016/2017 season we have a few pre-season friendlies confirmed. This gives us an opportunity to test where we are in relation to our pre-season training plans, look at different player combinations and more importantly get some well earned game time.

This Saturday (13th August) we are away to Hackney RFC. Kick off is at 2pm and the postcode for Hackney RFC is E5 9BL. Hackney compete in London 3NW and finished 3rd in that league last season.

Friday 26th August we are away to Rochford Hundred RFC, kick off is likely to be 7.45pm. The postcode for Rochford Hundred is SS4 3AD. Rochford compete in London 2NE and last year finished fifth winning 12 of there 22 games. They have recruited heavily and will be a tough fixture for the lads.

Saturday 3rd September we complete our pre-season preparations at home against local neighbours Old Cooperians RFC. It is expected that kick off will be at 2pm. Old Cooperians won the league last year having won 18 games and will provide the coaching staff with a good marker ahead of our first league fixture the following week on the 10th September away at May & Baker RFC.

Finally, through one of our sponsors Thames Boats Ltd we have a Senior Social booked for Friday 19th August. This event is open to all members aged 18 or over. If any of the Colts wish too attend they need to have parental/guardian consent. We will be leaving Tower Pier at 7pm, returning back at 11pm and will cost £40 per person.
