This coming Saturday 4th July sees two of Walneys teams travelling up to Workington to face Seaton at Derwent Park in the final of this years Cumbria Cup.

The Under 12's are due to kick off at 13:00 against Seaton U12's, in what will be an entertaining and tough game. Walney have been in the final for the last two years only to narrowly miss out on both occasions, and are looking to bring the trophy back to the Island.

The First Team are due to kick off at 15:00, and in a similar story to the 12's, have also closely missed out at the final in the last two years. They also will be facing Seaton.

This is going to be a huge day for Walney and will be a fantastic day out for all concerned. There will be a lot of supporters travelling up the coast, a lot of which will be by train. It would be great to get as many people as possible to come along and support both teams, they have both trained and played some extremely tough games this season, and bringing the trophies home together would be justly deserved.
