Dear Whitehall Members
Here we are at the half way point of another season that has so far proved frustrating and challenging for coaches, players and supporters alike. It is a season of two halves so we must be positive and look forward to upping our game right from the first kick off.
The Thirds have been able to fulfil the required number of fixtures to continue into next year. This is a great achievement given they suffer the most from changes to the firsts and seconds. Won 7 Lost 7 sees the Seconds, as you might expect, mid table. If they can keep a settled side and play at their best, there is no reason why they cannot compete for a place in the playoffs. It took until the beginning of November for the Firsts to get their first win. Our recurring enemy “Injury” has reared its ugly head again, just as the team began to find some better form and were gelling as a team. Let’s hope all those recovering from injury, are fit very soon and return to help all the teams finish the season well placed in their leagues.
I hope the teams continue to play with belief and determination through to the end of the season and our supporters back them in every game.
As always, we say a big thankyou to the many people giving up their time to help keep the junior section a vibrant part of the club. Whitehall needs these players for our future.

As we look forward to spending this Christmastime with our family and friends, let us also remember those who have lost a loved one, may be supporting others through illness or are not at home for the holidays.
