welcome Tom Wraight

The club can confirm that Garry and his management team have completed their last piece of business in signing young left footed forward/winger Tom Wraight from Tilbury fc. Tom is highly regarded at his previous club where he came through there youth team making the first team shirt his own for the last 2/3 seasons yet only 18 years old. Tom whilst playing for TIlbury attracted interest from clubs higher in the pyramid amongst 1 or 2 professional clubs. Tom finished the season at TIlbury as one of there top goal scorers and most assist and is likely to have a great future in the game. Garry Kimble said " the only signings we were going to make in the summer was those that would improve the squad and Tom is the latest signing that I feel does that. He is a local lad not to far from Witham and its good to see another young talented player playing for the club. It's important we keep the blend of experience and youth in the squad. Tom is left footed so we have gone from having no attacking left footed players to adding 2 so gives us balance."

Please note that the friendly v Thurrock is cancelled and we will now play Enfield Town of the Ryman Premier away on SUNDAY 4th August 3pm ko.
