Tribute to Chris Baldwin who sadly passed away on Sunday

All at the club are sad to hear of the passing of WFCSA Secretary Chris Baldwin over the weekend

Worthing Football Club were sad to hear that supporter Chris Baldwin passed away on Sunday.

Chris was an ever-present at Woodside Road as Secretary for the Worthing Football Club Supporters Association for around four years.

He also sold Golden Goal tickets on the way into the ground at every game and handed out Player of the Month voting forms.

Chris will be very sadly missed and the thoughts of all at the club go out to his friends and family at a time of great sorrow.

Worthing club captain Matt Hurley paid tribute to Chris on Facebook, saying: "(He was) a great character who will be missed around Woodside.

"Genuine Rebels fan and all round nice fella to have spoken to over the past few years at the club.

"Thoughts are with the family and close friends. Thank you for all the support, rest in peace buddy."

Chris is photographed above presenting Corey Heath with a man of the match award earlier this season.
