This is due to the contractors of the new 3G pitch being unable to produce the required FIFA test certificates in time. Although this is a routine test and will be concluded in a day, the league require the certificate in place by Friday 7th August.

Due to the large volume of 3G pitches being installed across the country this summer, and there only being three accredited testing company's in the UK, the 11th is the earliest possible date the test can be carried out.

Obviously we are all extremely disappointed with this outcome and feel it as much as you the fans. Although not ideal Bognor Regis Town have kindly stepped forward and offered us the use of there pitch.

This fixture will therefore now take place on Wednesday 12th August at Bognor's ground. We did everything within our control to get the game played, including trying to reverse the fixture, but unfortunately to no avail.

This is another in a series of hurdles we've had to overcome in the short time the new board has been in place, but please rest assured we will get over them and we will move forward as a club.

We appreciate all your support and good wishes and let's look forward to May when we can look back on this as a minor hiccup in what has otherwise been a successful season.
