A slight fracture and ligament damage were diagnosed when the ambulance arrived at Northwick Park Hospital – and it would appear a lengthy period on the injury list for one of Steve Baker’s key summer signings.
Two well taken strikes in the first half hour of the game from Michael Bryan put Boro’ 2-0 up at the interval.
The visitors reduced the arrears early in the second period but fine work by Bryan and Kurtis Cumberbatch set up Tayo Coker for Boro’s third.
A less than convincing performance on the day but with a growing injury list manager Steve Baker would have been happy with a victory and a further 3 goals.
