Rossington Main Match Preview

Shirebrook are on the road tomorrow when they Visit Rossington Main the sides only met 7 days ago in the league cup with Shirebrook running out 3-0 winners so Shirebrook will be looking to pick up the same result Rossington sit in 14th place with 4 points from 5 games played so far Shirebrook will be looking to add another 3 points this weekend and with some sides playing in the FA Vase a win could send Shirebrook flying up the table.

Shirebrook manager Rob Camm had this to say about the game

We were very pleased with last weeks performance. We played some good football in spells and I thought we looked very good going forward with Danny Williams into the front line. He took his goals very well and linked up well with Ben Charlesworth who was making his first appearance for the first team. Ben was also impressive and capped his performance off with a goal. We will hopefully have 2-3 back from injury for this weekend but will also be without one or 2 as well which is disappointing. I think once we can get everyone fit and holidays out the way we will be looking something like where I’d want us to be.
Although we kept the clean sheet we did have to do some dogged defending in spells but another pleasing clean sheet non the less.
It’s a really good set up at Rossington with probably the best surface in the league so hopefully there’s plenty of supporters making the trip.
