Past Player Geoff Cotton passes on.

It was great sadness that we heard that past player Geoff Cotton passed away last weekend.

Geoff will be well known to all of those who played at Birch Grove, he was a larger than life character in both stature and his enjoyment for the game both on and off the pitch.

He played for Chippenham from the late 1960’s right through well into the 1980’s both as a second row and prop forward, and was also a very accomplish bowls player, playing for Westinghouse Bowls Club for a number of years.

Geoff will be sorely missed by all of those who had the pleasure of knowing and playing alongside him.

The funeral for Geoff Cotton will be held at Semington Crematorium on Friday 15th December at 10.00 am.
