Club Captain

The Club Captain role is one that the club has had previously but it had lapsed. Gareth was the immediate choice of the DoR, Bernie Rhodes, and Head Coach, James Alder.

Please join us in congratulating Gareth on his new appointment and supporting him in his new role.

The Club Captain is a role model at any club. They will support a link between the players and the administration.

Representing the views of players, and taking responsibility for their behaviour on and off the field, providing advice and guidance to promote their interests in their development and consequently that of the club

Gareth embodies the characteristics that an ideal candidate would have;
 Enthusiastic and dedicated
 Confident and good at communicating
 Committed to fair play
 Familiar with the club and players
