Southam struggled all afternoon with a 9 changes due to injury an unavailability from the squad that played Rugby Lions. Old Sills used their backs and the wide pitch to get the points. The Southam boys competed right to the end with some standout tackling across the team.
Southam did get 2 tries the first started by Tolly who when he chipped over the top just outside the Sills in what seemed a kick to nowhere, shut everyone up when the ball found space and then he collected his own chip, he laid the ball off in the tackle for Will Grindal to score.
The second was a belter, Sam Deeming received the ball outside the Sills 22 and with a show and go stepped, 2 players and then out gassed the Sils fullback into the corner for the try.
