The game was delayed by over half an hour with the Chasetown team delayed by traffic on the A38.
Skipper Jack Langston struck the Lincoln crossbar early on and then forced a save from Michael Emery.
The hosts took the lead with a penalty just after the half hour. A hopeful ball forward was adjudged to have been handled by a Chase defender and Paul Grimes converted the spot kick.
On the stroke of halftime, Danny Cocks drew a foul and earned Chasetown a penalty which Langston converted with style.
Midway through the second half, United regained the lead as Kallum Smith cut in and curled the ball beyond Pond.
Lincoln sealed the points when Sean Wright netted from a header.
