A Fresh Start

Last season was a disaster and AC were close to folding as a team. However, an opportunity to join a new league arised and it was a unanimous decision to accept the invitation. This new league and an influx of new players saw the old AC enthusiasm flood back into the whole squad.
Everyone was up for it again and loving playing instead of just turning up. Added to this was a strong squad which provided much needed competition for starting places.
AC went on a storming run and were early contenders for the title. But a mid season drop in form meant they finished in the bottm half of the table. After the league split, AC showed they were far too good for the bottom half by sweeping aside all oppositon to lift the sub divsion title. They also reached two semi finals only t be eliminated on penaties.
All in all, a great season with a great squad of players. Onwards into next season to challenge for the title!
