AFC Bournemouth CST

Many players dream of playing football at the highest levels, and the AFC Bournemouth Football Academy IOW offers the chance to pursue this goal whilst gaining nationally recognized qualifications and practical experience in this global industry.

Students will be coached intensively by professional coaches to improve their fitness and progress their technical skills and tactical awareness. Alongside this practical skills development, students will study academic programmes from Level 1 to Level 3 - (Equivalent of 3 A 'Levels) at our education centre in Newport. These programmes include BTEC and City and Guilds qualifications in Sport and Sports Development, First Aid, Employability Skills, and Functional Skills.

PL/FL League

Our 16–19 year old players will be competing in the Premier League/Football League (PLFL), every Wednesday. This is a very high standard league, made up entirely of Premier League and Football League clubs, for players who are not signed professionally with a club, but wish to play to the highest standard, and give themselves the best possible chance of progressing up the football pyramid. Homestay Accommodation

A warm welcome awaits all students joining our approved Host Family.
All Homestay families are carefully chosen and have many years’ experience of hosting International students.
Wet carry out strict assessments and police checks to assure the suitability of the families and the welfare of the students, along with a 24 hour on call service. A comfortable room will be provided along with all meals, access to laundry facilities and a quiet space in which to study.
