We weren't planning on giving you any more transfer updates this season. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, we have lost Kieron Holliday (Carlton) and Haseen Bashir (Wrenthorpe). We would like to thank both players for their efforts whilst at the club and wish them both the very best for the rest of the season.

We have brought in one player who goes straight into the team on Saturday. Former Altofts man Ismail Patel has rejoined the club from Wakefield St Michaels. Ishy enjoyed a season at Altofts back in 2013 in which he was a pivotal player during our CYCL days. Since then Ishy has played at Carlton and Wakefield St Michaels where he enjoyed promotion last season. Ishy his an all-rounder who has been more prominent with his bowling as he took 35 wickets last season including 5 wickets against Altofts across both games. We are sure you will all welcome Ishy back to the club.

With Kieron leaving the club, a decision has been made to make Jamie Hopper the new 1st XI captain. Jamie has made Danny Bridges his vice-captain. We would like to wish Jamie and Danny the best of luck moving forward.
