Following the return of centre Chevel Taylor against Malvern, Number 8 Sohail Ahmed was in line to return to match action for Aston against Camp Hill.

Never before has Sohail spent so long out of rugby action, and having watched the Malvern clash from the sidelines, he found himself wanting to end his absence.

Following medical clearance from doctors on Thursday, Sohail declared himself fit to play and available for selection for Aston's final fixture of 2011.

Unfortunately, the icy overnight conditions led to all pitches at Sunnybank being deemed unfit for rugby, and so Sohail's wait for his return will continue!
