The funeral is at Newton Road Crematorium on Tuesday 26th November at 4.00pm and afterwards at Handsworth Golf Club.

John played for Aston in the 1950's and is pictured on the right of the back row. Also on the picture are Malcolm Perrott and Roy Bradley, who are still active within the Club.

John was also responsible for the production of the 75th Anniversary brochure that was published in 1964.
