Another league win for the 1st XV, and narrow losses for the 2nds and Women's XVs

Aston 1st XV travelled to Ludlow for the rearranged fixture following 2 cancellations, and came away with a 70-12 victory to gain 1st place in the league table. 10 tries, all converted, also took Aston back to the top of the try scoring list, and extended Richard Squires' lead at the head of the National individual points table.

Prince & Joel Finnemore both scored hat-tricks, with Ash Rana picking up a brace, and Marcus Taylor also scoring a try. A penalty try, and 9 conversions completed the scoring.
Benedict Yau made his 1st XV debut, and Lea Ross was named Man of the Match. Prince's hat-trick takes him to 21 for the season, to top the try scoring list for the league - 1 ahead of Ethan Channer.

Aston now lead Trentham by 3 points in the league, and with just one match to play (Stone, away, on 6th April), look to be strong favourites for the league title.

The 2nd XV enjoyed a tight game v Warley, but lost out 31-29. Man of the Match was Pataudi Alexander, with debuts by James McGann and Ayan Ibrat.

On Friday evening, an AOE Women's Development XV played Rugby Lionesses, and also lost out by a single score - 36-31. Tries came from Aimee Tudor (2), Chloe Andrews, Beth Hodgetts and Grace Harris, who also converted 3 of the tries. Players of the Match were Katie Hipkiss and Sophie Ferriman (stepping in admirably at fly-half from her usual position in the forwards).
The Women's final league game of the season is on Sunday 7th April - away at Birmingham Moseley
