‘Hinton Youth Club’s Division 4 team, the last of the Herefordshire League clubs to boast a 100 per cent. record, made a disastrous visit to Bartestree on Saturday. Bang went their proud record as Bartestree, no respecter of reputations, hammered home eight goals to score a runaway 8 – 3 victory. The villagers’ top marksman, M.Herman, bagged a hat-trick to bring his tally of goals to 10 in five matches, while skipper Dave Frost and Geoff Jones netted two apiece, Roy Pitt got the other.’
