Beccs U12s away v Canterbury (11 Feb 2018)

Long trip down to Canterbury produced a game of two halves.

The first half produced some excellent team play and phases much to the enjoyment and pleasure of the travelling supporters club. Passing at the right time, backing themselves in a break, spreading out in defence. Some excellent and very well worked team scores Beccs richly deserved their half-time lead. Toby scoring a hat-trick inside 10 minutes particularly of note.

The second in reverse, maybe thinking the game was won, and mind off the task in hand for a while, with Canterbury's large squad and A team players introduced when we Beccs went 7-2 up, ultimately making the difference between the sides.

Extended thank you to Ian and Steve at Canterbury for hosting us, and Steve for reffereeing, allowing as much flowing rugby as possible for the the entire game. Squad very well captained by Kingsley, with Oliver.B as man of the match for some excellent carrying and work rate around the pitch, following two months out through injury.
