Steve Watson had two players missing again from last weeks game. Craig Riley was unavailable and Scott Slater was suffering from a hamstring injury. Ben Summers returned on the left hand side.

Belper United got off to an awful start in blustery conditions at Christchurch Meadows. After only 4 minutes, an in-swinging corner was misjudged by Adam Jablonski and he could only punch the ball into his own net. 2 minutes later though, Belper United equalised, when Joe Sparham rose highest to head home a Ben Summers free-kick.

A scrappy 20 minutes spell was broken when Barrowby took the lead again. Barrowby broke up a Belper United attack and with no one tracking back took advantage and Callum Tyndall slid home after 35 minutes.

Barrowby came out the better side in the second half for the first 15 minutes but were caught out after 60 minutes. Luke Crosby picked the ball up, slotted it through the defenders legs and curled a shot into the top corner from 20 yards out.

Barrowby took the lead again on 70 minutes when poor defending led to the ball falling to Barry Payne and he easily slotted home from inside the 6 yard box. A minute later Barrowby should of put the game out of sight when they were awarded a penalty. Adam Jablonski stood big and in the end easily saved the penalty.

Belper United made two substitutions with just over 10 minutes to go and they were both hugely instrumental in Belper Uniteds 3rd equaliser. With 92 minutes on the clock Ollie Shelton sped down the right wing and his perfect cross was met by the head of Jamie Wilde in the six yard box to make the score 3-3.

Steve Watson says 'We were very poor today and are very lucky to get a point from the game. Barrowby were better and more determined all over the park today and must feel aggrieved to not take all 3 points. If we want to challenge for honours this year we cant afford to put in another performance like that and we must try and put that right against Hucknall town next week.'
