For those who knew and loved Benjamin Cassidy and would like to pay their respects, the ceremony will be held on Monday 11th November at 12 noon. The service will take place at St Peter and St Paul’s Parish Church in Buckingham, with a reception to follow at Buckingham Rugby Club at 13.30. There will be a private committal for family and close friends only.

On the day, we plan to take one final walk through town with Ben as he makes his way to the church. The hearse will pause outside the Old Gaol at 11.30 for family to join on foot and will then continue on its journey to the church. We invite attendees to line the streets leading from the gaol to the church and follow on behind as he makes his way past.

Those who knew Ben knew that he had a very colourful and flamboyant wardrobe, with green being his favourite colour. As such, the dress code for the ceremony will be smart attire, though we encourage bright colours alongside this. Hawaiian shirts, colourful blouses and dresses are all welcome.

There is limited parking near the church, but car parks can be found on Western Avenue and Cornwall’s Meadow. Please be advised that these car parks require payment. There is ample free parking at the rugby club.
