The following tribute has been written by Max’s teammates and friends, Harry Fellingham and Theo Terkelsen.

It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of Max Judge, known to many as Judgie, last week.

Max played throughout the Minis and Juniors at Buckingham, representing Buckinghamshire County at a number of age grade levels. He was still a familiar face at the club in recent years, supporting the senior men from the sidelines on a number of occasions.

Max was a true warrior and epitomised what it means to be a Buckingham player. His strength, courage, kindness and resilience through the hardest times were traits that many could only wish for. He was a friend to all and lit up every room he entered.

During this incredibly difficult time, our thoughts and sympathies are with Max’s family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
