1993 - Club established by founder members Mike Owen, Darren Broadstock, Eddie Dean and Rob Young.

1995/96 - After a season of friendlies they entered North West Counties League Division 6 playing as Cadishead George. The first games were played in Culcheth however they soon moved to their current home at Cadishead Recreation Centre on Lords Street. The team were coached by Howard Smith and captained by Eddie Dean.

1997 - Roy Fenlon took over as coach and the club moved away from its original base at the George Hotel and renamed itself as Cadishead Rhinos.

1998/99 - After short coaching spells by Darren Lockley and Barrie Hughes, ex player Paul Finch took over as the new coach and his tough uncompromising style of play soon brought success at Cadishead.

1999/00 - Gail Hall is awarded the accolade of Secretary of The Year by NWC in recognition of the excellent work she puts in behind the scenes in running the club. Gail still holds the position as Club Secretary and continues to do a sterling job for the club.

2003/04 - Coached by Paul Finch and captained by Paul Elliott the Rhino's took NWC Division 6 by storm, running away with the title after winning all but one league game.

2004/05 - The following season the Rhino's gained a second successive promotion after finishing 3rd in NWC Division 5.

2005/06 - After 7 tremendously successful seasons Paul Finch stepped down from his role as coach and was replaced by coach Paul Elliott.

2007/08 - Founder member Mike Owen was promoted to Club President and long serving ex-player and committee member Steve Guy became the club's new Chairman.

2008/09 - Paul Elliott steps down as open age coach after consolidating the Rhinos position in NWC Division 4 and takes up the position of the newly formed under 15s coach. Jason Reed takes up leadership of the open age side.

2010/2011 - With Jason Reed still in charge the open age side finish runners up in Division 4 in their final season in the NWC league. The Junior sides go from strength to strength.

Summer 2011 - The Rhinos finish league leaders in the RFL ran regional North West division but lose in the grand final after a brave performance against Rochdale Cobras at Golborne.

2012 - Our first full summer season sees the Rhinos placed in division 2 of the newly formed North West Men's League where they failed to make an impact however the club goes from strength to strength with 4 competitive junior sides and the membership numbers soaring.

2013 - The open age side struggle once again in division 2 and decide mid season to concede their remaining games, however all was not lost as the side won back the Simon Annis Cup against East Manchester Rangers and reached the semi final of the Rail Life Cup. Our junior sides excelled again with the highlight being the under 14s who finished division 3 champions.

The future - The open age side will look to compete in a lower division within the NWML whilst the club will field sides at u18s, u15s, u13s and u11s whilst trying to develop the u9s, u7s and cubs sides. Off the field the club are focused on securing their long term future with plans for their own clubhouse and to increase their player base, volunteers and club members.
