Founded in 1959, the Calgary Rams were one of the first clubs to play rugby in the Calgary. In 2022 the Calgary Rams Rugby Club will celebrate its 63rd anniversary and the club has more members today than ever before. We have several junior teams ranging in age from as young as 5 years old to 17 years of age. We will also have senior Men and Women’s teams. We have many active members registered with the club and as one of the oldest rugby clubs in Calgary, we have a large alumni list that now extends throughout Canada. The Rams have boasted a number of representative honours over the years across all teams. In addition, the Calgary Rams host one of the biggest rugby competitions in Western Canada, The Stampede Sevens Tournament. This event is attended by more than 80 teams from across Canada during the Calgary Stampede and is a Calgary Rams organized event.
