Cheadle Lacrosse U12s Boys

Team info

Welcome to Cheadle Lacrosse Under 12s

The under 12s section of Cheadle Lacrosse is lively, noisy and energetic! Some of our members have learned about us through the Lacrosse Development Programme we run in local schools, some have parents who are or were Lacrosse players themselves, others have been introduced to the club by friends. Our players range in age from about 8 to 12, and we also have provision for younger boys who train as U10s.

U10s (up to and including Year 5) train on Monday evenings and the U12s squad on Tuesday evenings, on the all-weather courts at the club. Tennis shoes, astro boots or trainers are suitable.

On Tuesdays the boys train in helmets and protective kit. The club has lacrosse sticks, gloves, helmets and chest protection which you can borrow.

We play matches on Saturday mornings from September to April. Matches are usually played on grass pitches where boots with studs, such as football or rugby boots, are suitable. In bad weather if the hosting team has astroturf pitches the match may be played on astroturf.
