The company was established 1988. Originating from a Stonemasonry family business spanning over 3 generations, we have worked on many prestigious projects; Windsor Castle, Buckingham Palace, Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey and Brentwood Cathedral, to name just a few.
In the mid to late 80's people were tiring of the 70's style Crazy Paving and we were invited to lay a new product called Block Paving. From our first completed driveway that people could see and a small sign board, we went on to lay several more in the same street.
Forest Drives have built up an expert and specialised team of people with decades of experience, providing extremely high standards of workmanship. At Forest Drives we pride ourselves upon our reputation and dedication to care, efficiency, precision and keeping works to the least disruption possible for the homeowner.
Since our first contract over 30 years back we have gone on to lay several thousand driveways and patios. Many of these projects are available for you to view in our portfolio.

Butler & Stag is owned and run by Neil Leahy & Michael Woolley. Both come from similar working class backgrounds, and they met and became friends at Chingford Rugby Club, which to this day they still frequent, instead now it's for a drink and a catch up with old friends, as the playing days are well and truly over.

From domestic refurbishments, commercial fit out’s and major external works programmes we have done it all. Working closely with our client to deliver not just the project but to also ensure the fluid transition of documentation and live reporting as works progress.
We have invested heavily into our management team and future to ensure that we become a first choice. Investment into innovations has also allowed us to separate ourselves from many others, from live report on site using our smart phone driven apps and even custom built trackers for our clients to monitor works. Document scanning and smart phone apps have allowed us to dramatically reduce both time and clarity in the paperwork our clients receive. All of workforce receive latest bulletins via our system giving H&S updates, legislation changes and other relevant site based information.
We have even gone as far as to send VR and 360 degree photos of our works in progress to clients and on our larger projects live footage from site. We don’t see ourselves as just another construction company but a porthole into the future of innovation in the construction industry meeting time, quality and cost objectives.
