Dear Club members and the wider community

Sadly we are fully aware of an incident that took place involving a member of our club.

The club is truly sorry about this matter as this does not reflect the values of rugby or the ethos of our club.

Rugby Union prides itself on being inclusive and open to all. There is simply no place for racism in our sport.

We value our diverse community and membership EVERYONE is always welcome here at Chingford Rugby Club.

We have now spoken to the individual involved and have taken appropriate action however, the Club will close and remain closed for all Rugby and social activity until this matter is concluded.
