I’m writing to update you on progress for the Money Maul fund and, once again, I should like to start this update with a message of thanks on behalf of the club.

As an existing supporter of the CRFC Money Maul, you have enabled the club to fund essential safety and maintenance projects which help us make significant improvements to our Clubhouse and grounds. Money Maul projects have a positive impact across every section of the club and we are very grateful for your continued support.

You have helped the Money Maul fund to achieve:

Since launching the club’s lottery, the prize pot has now paid out over £45K to members. In addition, Money Maul funding has been used to support a wide variety of projects including:

A major upgrade of the club’s security systems including a new alarm system and installation of CCTV across the Clubhouse and grounds
The replacement of the Clubhouse windows and doors
A contribution to the cost of refurbishing the ladies’ toilets
A contribution towards improving the club’s car parking surfaces and parking capacity
A contribution towards the cost of the club’s new front gate
Installation of pathway lighting between car park and the Clubhouse
Refurbishment of the Pavilion flooring
Installation of a safety railing in front of the AGP
The purchase of paint and materials for redecorating the Clubhouse and Pavilion
The supply and installation of specialist equipment for the kitchen and beer cellar
Health and Safety signage around the club
A contribution towards the installation of the driveway fence
Installation of the Clubhouse car park lighting
Installation of a new access ramp and refurbishment of rear patio area

We fully understand the financial pressure that many individuals and businesses are facing at the moment, however, if you are able to do so, please continue to enter the Money Maul draw each month. Your club is facing sharply rising costs and so the vital support which the Money Maul fund provides will allow us to deal with essential maintenance and improvement projects over the months ahead. As a reminder, entries into the Money Maul often appear with the reference ‘Sports club subs’ on bank statements.

We are always looking for new members to join the Money Maul as the more members we have, the greater the Prize Pot, and the more projects we can tackle. Attached is a copy of our Money Maul application form so please do pass this on to other club members who are not Money Maul subscribers and encourage them to join us.
