The Cricket season enters its final month and the Allington teams have plenty to play for before we get into the Rugby season.

Allington 1's are currently in 4th place in Division 5 and are playing at Spye Park on Saturday, with the hosts sitting in 2nd place. With the top 2 teams earning promotion, this will be a key game for the Ally Lads. Spye Park are a skilful squad and very solid at home but they have lost there against Wroughton Wranglers and Avebury 2, so can be beaten. Allington are on an unbeaten run that goes back to the 8th June....when they last lost to..... Allington 2's are looking forward to being back at home on Saturday and putting together a solid performance against Beehive & Southwick 2s. Our visitors are a team we know well and B&S are currently sitting 9th in the league but have won their last two games. Allington will need to produce a good game and dig in to ensure they secure a mid-table place and turn around some recent results.
