We received £565.67 into the club funds last week which is great however with six months left of the Co-op’s support can I please encourage you to get involved (if you have not already) and sign up to the Community Fund which ends in October.
Lisa Thornton has been working tirelessly on various fundraising activities and grant applications. Chippenham Rugby Club are delighted to have been picked as one of the causes being supported by the Co-op Community Fund as a result of Lisa's activities.
It does not matter which store you use, every time you buy a Co-op branded food product or service 1% of the money spent will go the club. We will be in the fund for the next twelve months and normally groups raise around £5,000. The fund has been up and running over December and we have already raised nearly £200 with out any promotion.
What you need to next.
If you are already a Co-op member you need to login online using your membership number (found on the back of the card) and select Chippenham RFC as the community project that you would like to support. This is all you need to do. Every time you shop and present your card, the Co-op will automatically add 1% of your shop (Co-op own brand items) to the fund.
If you are not already a Co-op member You can sign up to become a member here https://www.coop.co.uk/membership and £1 to join and then select Chippenham RFC as the project to benefit

Ian Banister has asked all members to let him know of any other grant opportunities they come across, sending him a note on email@example.com so that we can get Lisa on the case.
