Heart break for travelling Chiefs

Chippenham made the trip down the M4 and M5 to face off against a strong Clifton team. Now as this report is roughly a month behind, you can probably guess the result and there won't be much said during the brief report either. To sum it up the best word that springs to mind is disappointment. Chippenham started the game strongly and soon found themselves in-front through a well worked try and a period of sustained pressure. The second try came from a Clifton mistake, when they tried to catch the Chiefs out with a quickly taken goal line drop out. This backfired as Chippenham took the catch and walked in for the try. 12-0 at half time. The second half was a different story, Chippenham mistakes and heads dropping. Clifton took full advantage and scored three converted try's before Chippenham scored a consolation try late on. With the loss, Chippenham were knocked out of the Bristol Combination cup. Gutting!!
