The Club has always had at least two girls playing through various age groups at mini soccer in mixed teams with boys, but for the first time in the club's history, an all girls Under 12 team was established for the 2007/08 season and entered the Winchester District Girls 6-aside league.

For the 2008/09 season, the girls became an Under 14 team in the Winchester Girls League and continued to play their games on Saturday mornings. The girls moved up to U15 for the 2009/10 season and again played in the Winchester League which saw them claim the division 2 league title with resolute defending and a pacy and potent attack.

The following season they moved up to 11-a-side by entering the Hampshire Womens League at under 16's. Unfortunately, the team dispelled at the end of that season, we had hoped to reform for the 2012/2013 season as an open age ladies team, but without the required interest we were unable to run a team.

Having continued to monitor interest ahead of each season we were in a position to start girls training sessions from December 2021 for girls in school years 5, 6 and 7 with the intention of starting teams in those age groups should number dictate. Girls can also play in our mixed aged teams until under 16's!

We launched two girls teams for the 2022/23 season at under 13’s greens and under 11’s greens
