Jack brings with him a wealth of experience and adds depth to the front row department with his ability to play at both prop and hooker.
Bergy is a familiar face at Castle Park, having made 81 appearances over 6 seasons with the Doncaster Knights and enjoying a brief spell on loan at Phoenix back in 2016 after recovering from a long-term injury.
After leaving the Knights in 2018, Bergmanas spent two seasons playing for Rotherham in National 1 - making a further 52 appearances for the Titans.
Jack will be reunited with his former Knights' teammates Richard List and Tyson Lewis, as well as his ex-forwards coach and current Director of Rugby at Doncaster Phoenix Glen Kenworthy.
"Having briefly played with the Phoenix a few years ago I am looking forward to joining up with the squad for this coming season. Phoenix is a club with real ambition and I feel we are now in a position to mount a serious push for promotion.
"I'm excited to be a part of a tight group of lads who enjoy their rugby and it's great to be able to work alongside some familiar faces."
The club would like to welcome Jack and everyone here looks forward to seeing him and the rest of the Phoenix boys back in action during the upcoming season.
