This season represents a New Chapter for our Colts

We’re proud to announce an exciting new chapter for youth rugby in our area. Berwick Colts and Duns Colts have come together in partnership to form a stronger, united future — Berwickshire Colts.

This partnership isn’t about two clubs running separately it’s about working together as one team. With combined energy, shared resources, and a joint vision, we can offer even more opportunities for our young players to enjoy, develop, and succeed in rugby.

Coaching Team
The new setup is led by Michael Burns (Duns) and Luke Cameron (Berwick) who will be working side by side to deliver fun, engaging, and challenging sessions for all players, no matter where they train.

Training Schedule
Berwick – Tuesdays, 6–7pm
Duns – Thursdays, 6–7pm

This is about more than just rugby. It’s about bringing two communities together, building friendships, and creating one pathway for the future of the game in both clubs

Calling any 16-17 year olds with an interest in Rugby. The Berwickshire Colts is a joint venture between Berwick RFC and Duns RFC to keep Colts Rugby alive in the area. We are looking for new and experienced players to come and join us.

Benefits of the Colts Programme;
Playing time in the Borders Semi Junior League, this is a competitive league where you will get experience playing a high standard of Rugby. Fixture dates are set right through until after Christmas to allow for planning in your personal life.
Access to the First XV coaches and players at both Berwick and Duns. Colts training has been aligned with the Seniors to provide the chance for our players to benefit from their vastly experienced coaching teams and Senior players.
Accessibility, players of all experience levels are welcome and will benefit from training tailored to suit their needs.
A welcoming and fun environment, though we take our Rugby seriously, we aim to keep training fun and engaging to build a positive culture within the programme.
