In parallel to the dropped catch award, another award was introduced in 2009. In honour of Andy Barr and his slight issues in 2007 with the bat (7 ducks in a season, mostly in a row and Neil was NOT to blame for the first 2!!), the Flams were proud to present the "Ducky Barr Award for Service to Not Troubling the Scorers".
In the true spirit of the Flamingoes, the award tracked the people who are unfortunate to not trouble the scorers in the season, as well as Andy's progress at avoiding a similar fate to 2007. As agreed, the award is renamed at the end of the year in honour of the previous year's 'winner'.
