U10's match report for Sunday 24th
Tough day at the office for Fawley RFC U10's
Fawley RFC U10's welcomed Romsey RFC U10's to the Waterside Club for a return fixture, which earlier in the season saw Fawley come away with a three try victory.
Romsey threw away the form book though and scored two tries early on that instantly had Fawley on the back foot, a position they never really recovered from. Whilst two tries from Adam Reddish and one from Sofian Ferjani kept Fawley in touch, the score was still 6-3 to Romsey at the half time mark.
That three try gap never really looked as if it would be overhauled as tries were traded on an almost one for one basis. A second try from Sofian Ferjani and two tries from Joe Stokes meant at the final whistle the game finished 9-6 to Romsey RFC.
So, it's 1-1 to date this season and with a triangular fixture involving the two clubs at Salisbury this coming Sunday, the friendly rivalry continues!
