Holmesdale 1956 FC came together on Saturday afternoon to celebrate the achievements and commitment that defined the 2025/26 season. It was an evening that highlighted excellence on the pitch, dedication off it, and the people who make this club what it is.

Goalkeeper Charlie Wealands enjoyed a succesful night, collecting an unprecedented three honours. Voted Players’ Player of the Year, chosen as Manager’s Player of the Year, and recognised as the Committee’s Player of the Year, Charlie’s consistency and big moment performances have been central to the team throughout the campaign.

There was further recognition for Lewis Heywood, who finished the season as our SCEFL Top Scorer for the second year running.

Off the pitch, the club was proud to honour those whose commitment keeps Holmesdale moving forward. Coach Elliott McManus was named Clubman of the Year, recognising a season of tireless work and reliability.

We also celebrated the efforts of two young members of our team, with Jay Underwood and Caolan Commane receiving our Volunteer Recognition Awards. Both have shown maturity, enthusiasm and a willingness to step in wherever needed during their first season with the club.

The club extends its thanks to every player, volunteer, supporter and member of the Holmesdale1956 FC family for their contribution throughout 2025/26. Together, we look forward to building on this foundation as we move into the next chapter.
