Ibstock United Junior & Youth was started in 1979 with one team, nowadays it's an FA charter standard community football club with more than 27 teams, coaching hundreds of boys and girls between 4 and 17 years old and running competitive teams from U9's right through to open age football. As well as main stream football teams for boys and girls, Ibstock also have 2 inclusive teams that provide football opportunities for children and adults that have a learning, physical or sensory impairment / special need.
The club has recently had a brand new clubhouse constructed through football foundation and sponsorship funding and this will guarantee the future progression of the club.

All coaches are volunteers, FA qualified and CRB checked. Although the primary objective of the club is youth football, all of the children benefit in many other ways. At a time when there is much discussion about childhood obesity and anti-social behaviour, our children are fit, motivated and well behaved. Our players will always be disciplined, smart and polite. We intend our players to be a credit to our club and all those associated with it.

In 2010 Ibstock United won Charter Standard Community Club of the Year for Leicestershire & Rutland County FA, Linda Harris also won Volunteer of the Year and Tom Hunt won Young Volunteer of the Year for not only for Leicestershire & Rutland County FA but for the East Midlands.

In 2011 Ibstock were nominated again for the Charter Standard awards and again we were very successful winning, Charter Standard Community Club again but this time for the East Midlands Region as well as Leicestershire & Rutland County FA, other winners from the club were Peter Harris who won Coach of the Year, Kirsty Marriott won Young volunteer of the Year and the Inclusive section of the Club won the Fairplay award from the Inclusive League.

In 2013 Ibstock were nominated again for the Charter Standard Community Club awards and won this category, other winners from the Club were Geoff Straw won Coach of the Year and went to Regional At St George Park Burton on Trent

In 2014 Ibstock were again nominated for the Charter Standard Community Club awards and won, this is a brilliant achievement winning 4 out of 5 years entered.

Ibstock believe it is important to allow the young people to develop in the club as coaches and referees and will do every thing they can to promote this.
