Day1 of our newest project: The dugouts weren't much use on their backs
So we righted them

Tins, paint cans & tarpaulin sheets just dumped behind one of the containers...
...all cleared up (apart from some spilt paint)
A very messy storage unit with not much in the way of neatness...
...all dragged out and then put back in a re-organised fashion
A kitchen where the only thing on offer seemed to be bleach...
...all cleaned and tidied (somewhat)
Day2: Time for some grass cutting
Lots of grass cutting
Day3: The cutting continues
A helicopter flew by to check our progress
And we broke open a tin of paint for the clubhouse
Day4: The pitch has been cut
And the stand has gone from being rather grimy...
...to having half of a lick of paint on it
Day5: Time to rip out the poorly fitted showers, boiler and rotted through roof
Which, after a slight leak and a few runs to the tip, was looking bare and ready for new showers to be fitted
Meanwhile the rest of the white paint on the front of the clubhouse was slapped on
With the idea being to pressure wash the concrete slab and the other walls of the clubhouse, and finishing off the skirts with black. All a job for another day.
Day6: There were boxes of longer patches of grass from where we'd borrowed the CC's mower
So a small box of that got cut away, still a lot to do
We did manage to cut something of an access path towards the stand, as well as cleaning up the area around the clubhouse
Day7: The ripped out husk of a shower room has had its first fittings fitted by our sponsors Jobel Ltd
And has had a wall tiled
Come the end of the day, shower heads are on, while the ceiling, ventilation and spotlights have been fitted.
Day8: The stand has been repainted, in Inter blue & black, of course
With the grime from the dugouts and stand cleaned off

The painting of the clubhouse's exterior has been completed, with the black skirts looking much cleaner now
While inside, the showers are all but finished

Just a few patches of flooring, the final two walls, and the door to be fitted...
...and then this humorously spelt sign can finally be taken down
Day9: We've found a key which allows us to get some much needed air and sunlight into the clubhouse
As well as finding whatever the hell this is
And all of this scrap
Which can sit nicely next to what was left of the once impressive looking crowd barrier
This fencing had been here long enough for bushes to grow through it
So they were cut free
And put with all this scrap
All to go to the tip along with this shower room paraphernalia
Looks a bit sharper with the grass in front of it cut down (somewhat)

And a bit cleaner inside when all the CC's stuff is pushed into one corner
We cut down a space outside for vehicle access
And the grass at one end got cut down to the ideal length
Before the mowers decided to pack it in for the day
If anyone has a spare hub for a Honda HRG 41 mower, do get in touch
Still plenty of work to do when you stand at the other goalmouth
However we have cleared a spot outside the clubhouse for an arrival
Day10: Hello...?
Ahhhh hello
Our own dedicated container, allowing us to keep football junk out of the clubhouse
Which is looking a bit more cluttered in one corner today
But a bit cleaner elsewhere
Obviously to allow the lorry with the container in, we had to fully open the access gate
Which offers the chance for some on-site parking
A teenager's bedroom wall? No, it's our own Inter wall
And there's another one just a few steps away, crammed full of Inter memories
Meanwhile on the pitch, something exciting it happening
Thnaks to Bill and Argaum for letting us use a line marker

Day11: We're back making some more parking spots...
...as well as adding our own touch to the grounds
...and going over the lines before our first home game

Day12: We've had a delivery
A line marker for the site, which will add some (much needed) paint to our pitch for the coming seasons
