As regular readers will have seen in the most recent website article - Senior Rugby In 2022-23 - the RFU pyramid has had something of a shake-up for the new season. For King's this means a reduction in league size from 14 to 12 and a change of name, London 1 South to Regional 2 South East. More details here from the RFU.

Most of the R2SE teams remain familiar, the one change since the time of publishing is a swap between Cobham and Reeds Weybridge (promoted from London 2SW), with the former heading to Regional 2 Thames and the latter joining R2SE.

The shorter league programme has been designed in a way to leave time in the Spring for an optional cup competition. Details and fixtures will follow nearer the time if the 1XV elect to participate.

There will also be at least a couple of pre-season fixtures, again details to follow but keep an eye on the website and social media channels (Twitter, Facebook and Instagram) for arrangements.
